Blackmores is the best-selling multivitamin brand on Indonesia's marketplaces, by GMV across Shopee and Tokopedia between January and June 2026, and it ranked first in every one of those six months. It holds roughly a tenth of the category on its own, and no other brand is close. This page ranks the top ten and describes the shape of the category behind the ranking.

How concentrated is the multivitamin category in Indonesia?

It is one of the more fragmented categories we track in Indonesia. One brand holds about a tenth of it, the nine below are packed close enough together that their order should be read as a group rather than a sequence, and most of the category sits with brands outside the top ten altogether. There is a leader here, but there is no incumbent.

Marketplace sales in the multivitamin sub-category of Magpie's own taxonomy, on Shopee and Tokopedia, January–June 2026 — not the total Indonesian vitamin market. Segment groups the top ten by their average realised price over the window: mass around or below the category average, mass-premium above it, premium at the top of the range. The underlying prices are not published here. One brand is excluded from this ranking as a pricing artifact; see About the data below.

Price and volume are two different rankings

The segment column matters because a GMV ranking is not a units ranking. Sido Muncul places tenth on GMV while selling more units than any brand on the list except Blackmores, at the lowest realised price in the top ten. NOW places fifth on GMV on a little under half the units of the brand ranked above it, at the highest realised price on the list. Between them sit brands like Nutrimax and Prove D3, which reach the top five on mid-priced pack formats and steady volume. A ranking by units sold would not look like the one above, and neither would a ranking by revenue per unit.

What a fragmented category means for a brand

Two things follow for anyone competing here. The first is that share is winnable in small increments: outside the leader, the gaps between neighbouring brands are narrow enough that a single strong quarter moves a brand several places. The second is the mirror of it — rank on its own is a weak signal in this category, because moving three places may mean very little actually changed. Position is worth tracking here only alongside the share behind it.

About the data

Source: Magpie IQ's SKU-level tracking of Indonesian marketplace listings, taken from the Health & Wellness › Supplements › Multivitamin sub-category of Magpie's own product taxonomy. The window is H1 2026, January to June 2026 inclusive, and every statement on this page is for that window. These are marketplace sales on Shopee and Tokopedia in Indonesia. Lazada and Blibli carry no listings in this category in our Indonesian panel, so they are absent rather than excluded, and they exclude pharmacies, supermarkets, minimarkets, direct selling and every other offline channel, so they are not a measure of Indonesia's total vitamin market.

GMV is price after discount × units sold. Share is a brand's GMV as a percentage of tracked category GMV; listings we cannot attribute to a named brand are excluded from both the ranking and that total. Segment groups the top ten by their average realised price over the window: mass around or below the category average, mass-premium above it, premium at the top of the range. The underlying prices are not published here.

One brand is excluded from this ranking. Its average realised price moved during the window in the way our checks flag as a pricing artifact rather than as a change in what it sold, and we would rather leave a brand out than rank it on a figure we cannot stand behind. We apply the same test before publishing any ranking. One month of this window is thinner in our coverage than the others. The measures this ranking uses — GMV, units, realised price, share and rank — hold across it. We publish no product counts, listing counts or assortment width for this window, and no year-on-year comparison.
